Once again, Big Brothers Big Sisters will be hosting our annual Holiday Party, complete with presents from the children’s wish lists. This year’s party will be Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Spitzer Center at Lorain County Community College. Our Holiday Party provides us with a unique opportunity to reach out and make connections with children who are facing adversity throughout Lorain County. There are two ways you can help make these children’s holiday wishes a reality.
- First, we accept monetary donations both large and small. The approximate value of each child’s gift is suggested to be $25, and all donations are tax-deductible!
- Second, your business, church, organization or group of friends can shop for gifts for one or more children. Simply send us the attached form stating how many children your group would like to sponsor, and we will send you a list with a first name and three gift ideas for each child. You then decide what gift(s) to get. Once you have purchased the items, you can either deliver them to the agency or a Big Brothers Big Sisters representative can pick them up. You can bring the gifts wrapped, or we can wrap them for you. We ask that all gifts be in the Big Brothers Big Sisters office by Monday, December 10, 2012.
We’re counting on your support for a successful Holiday Party!
